Multiplayer
Multiplayer
I was told that multiplayer is not planned for the game, but I think the local community would be very supportive of the idea of adding it. One of the reasons I learned is that online is labor intensive to create. I know games like RimWorld or Ravenfield, these games do not have online, but modders have made it in these games. What if we hand this task over to them?

Re: Multiplayer
Please be informed that it is technically not possible to mod CapLab to add multiplayer capacity.

Re: Multiplayer
From what I understand Capitalism 2 actually had a multiplayer system (never played it though). I am not sure why it wasn't included in Capitalism Lab (probably too difficult to keep up to date and the code base might have changed way too much).
I wouldn't play multiplayer if it was added to be honest but taking a broader perspective there is merit to adding a multiplayer component in the sense that the popularity of many games is driven (in part) by the social aspects of playing together. Of course that's not to say that Capitalism Lab doesn't have social aspects to it. It has for example this forum and it also has other things like player Mods (modding is often a great way to keep a game going for a long time) and Challenge Games, so single player does not necessarily mean completely solitary and isolated play.
If it is really is too hard to implement multiplayer then it is probably is just better to focus on the current strengths.
