Re: 5 New Scenarios in the new version 10.0.33
All of these are good scenarios. To those that play them here are some hints for the trickier scenarios:
1) Profit For Purpose - this is a tricky and difficult scenario. Recommend you start by building Media Companies and selling livestock products in the supermarkets. Consider researching some lucrative cash cow items such as the Camera Phone, Handheld/Console Game as well so that you can take advantage of the large revenues and profits they generate. Remember that you start with a lot of cash so you can do all three at once. Be sure to train your employees with full funding and to use the intensive training feature at the headquarters if you can't raise the average training level enough in time.
Also, to ensure that the donations work properly, make sure you build a civic building before you donate.
2) Underdog Aussie Banker's Triumph - you start with very little capital so try to start with some low budget industries such as selling livestock products or selling overseas imports. Once you collect enough profit you can try moving into more lucrative industries such as Media or expanding into Beverages/Food/Snacks. It will take around 1-2 decades or so to gain sufficient revenue that you can open your own bank. I recommend that you make at least 200 million a year and have a few hundred million in capital. Once you are ready setup the bank, run advertising, training and deposit interest rates as high as you can and build lots of branches to capture as much market share as you can. In additional set the loan risk to use the highest risk loans, to maximise your profit. If you get issues with defaults, don't worry, just use the profits in your other industries to subsidise the bank and ride out the loan defaults. It won't be too long before you dominate the banking sector.
