Lag when moving my mouse

Post by Yellow »

Hey im experiencing odd lag spikes that cause the game to shudder to a near halt when i move my mouse.

Specs that might change what the issue is:
Ryzen 5800x
GTX 1080
Razer DeathAdder Elite w/ synapse

I havn't played with the polling rate and ill update once I have but has anyone else had this issue and could help in the mean time?

Please try the following solutions:

SOLUTION 1:
Some users have reported that disabling the G-SYNC setting on nVidia Control Panel solved the mouse cursor slowness problem. Please try disabling G-Sync and see if it will solve the problem.

You may read the following article about how to enable/disable the G- Sync setting. (The articles shows how to enable the G- Sync setting but you can disable the setting by unchecking the box “Enable G-Sync”.)
Article: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-enable-nvidia-g-sync

SOLUTION 2:
1) Right-click on the Capitalism Lab icon to open the properties window.
2) Select the “Compatibilities” tab and enable the Windows XP compatibility option.
3) Enable the option "Run this program as an administrator."
4) Click “Change high DPI settings” and then enable the option "Override high DPI scaling behavior."
5) Enable the option “Run in 640x480 screen resolution”
6) Run the game.

Once in the main menu of the game, you can then select any resolution that is available (either full screen or windowed) as the game is actually not limited by the 640x480 setting.

SOLUTION 3:
1) Right-click on the Capitalism Lab icon to open the properties window.
2) Select the “Compatibilities” tab and enable the Windows XP compatibility option.
3) Enable the option "Run this program as an administrator."
4) Click “Change high DPI settings” and then enable the option "Override high DPI scaling behavior."
5) Enable the option "Reduced color mode" and select “16 bit color”
6) Run the game.

Hey so i turned off gsync and it made it stutter a substantial amount less however the slow down was still very noticeable.
I then tried the second solution and that seems to have done the trick. I was also able to turn Gsync back on with no issues.
Thanks heaps :)
