Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta version 6.5.10 Patch

Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta version 6.5.10 patch is now available for download at:
https://caplab.b-cdn.net/CB6510.zip

This patch must be applied on top of version 6.5.00 or later. If you haven't installed it, please download the full version 6.5.00 installer from viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7665


Then extract the ZIP file to your post-release Beta version of Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab Post-release Beta game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the folder.

(The saved game files from versions older than 6.5.00 are not compatible.)

Version 6.5.10

Note: This is the release candidate of the Banking and Finance DLC. If no further bugs are found, it will be rolled out as the Release version in early to mid July.

AI Improvement
Now AI will develop new versions of its OS (operating system) compatible with the latest custom computer hardware on the market.


Version 6.5.09

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug in changing the More Talents setting when the game is using translated text.
Fixed a bug in the script command Factory Capacity Modifier.
Fixed a bug in the Monthly Training Cost amount display when you hover the mouse over the training bar on the firm detail interface.
Fixed a bug in the Monthly Purchase display on a Warehouse product’s View Client window.
Fixed a display bug in the Bond Market where a corporate bond’s maturity date is truncated.
Fixed a bug in the script command Add Seaport Product.
Fixed a couple other bugs in the script system.
Various other bug fixes.

Version 6.5.08

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug with tech invention date.
Fixed a bug that allowed the player, in tutorial and scenarios games, to select logos from a MOD (It should not allow it.)
Various bug fixes.

Gameplay Balance Improvement
The upper limit of a new corporate bond issuance has been set to $1 billion x accumulated inflation, in a bid to make the bond system more exploit-proof.
AI companies are now less inclined to buy back their own stocks.


Version 6.5.07

Bug Fixes

Fixed a script issue.
Various bug fixes.
Fixed a bug where the "Economy’s Impact on Loan Defaults" setting is not saved for future games when it is set to Very Low or Low.

AI Improvements
AI improvements in setting up banks and insurance companies.


Version 6.5.06

Insurance Company Improvement
You can now see a list of Financial Assets held by an insurance company by viewing the new “Financial Assets” report, under the “Financial” tab.

Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug that happened to R&D projects.
Fixed the bug occurred when clicking on View Clients button on a Sales unit.
Corrected insurance HQ building grid size from 2x2 to 3x3.

AI Improvements
AI companies are now less inclined to use cash to buy back their own stocks, preferring to save cash for future expansions instead.

Improved AI in selecting the types of plants to grow in farms, as AI now does a better job assessing the demands for farm products.

AI will expand more aggressively by building more factories when it sees market opportunities.


Version 6.5.05

Fixed a crash bug.
Fixed a bug with the Mayor election screen.

Version 6.5.04

Bug Fixes
Fixed a display issue when hovering over a R&D center of a competitor.
Fixed a size issue with computer store buildings.
Fixed a bug that happened to R&D projects.
Fixed a bug with stock splits.
Fixed a bug with the script line "AI Private Companies Percent"
Fixed a bug with the product filter on R&D centers.

Gameplay Balance Improvement
Fixed a gameplay balance issue with ice-cream products.


Version 6.5.03

Bug Fixes
Fixed a crash bug caused by the bond system.

Version 6.5.02

AI Improvement
AI on planning R&D projects has been improved.

Bug Fixes
Fixed the error dial_ju.cpp.

Version 6.5.01

Bug Fixes
1) The maximum amount of special dividends you can pay has been changed to the smaller value of 1) the company's cash and 2) its Retained Earnings less Total Dividend Paid (viewable on its Balance Sheet).

2) Fixed various translation issues.

3) Added a “Cancel” button for batch firm selection functions.

Note :You can also go directly to the game folder by putting

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\local\Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta

when you do the operation with the user who did the installation of the game.

Hi David,

When trying to view clients from warehouse floors 2 and 3, the ui switches back to the product on floor 1, so it’s impossible to view any info from other floors.

Are you using v6.5.01 or v6.5.02 ?

Hi David,

first of all: I really like this update, it has a nice range of improvements. :)

But could have a look at the computer store in this version? When I set up a new store it now should have a size of 2x2, but the 3D model still seems to be in 3x3.

And is it on purpose that it only says ": 3%" in the firm name when I hover over a R&D center of a competitor?

hihi. I have this zoning issue
As you can see below that i have zone below as not for sale zone, however i am not sure why the AI still can build there
I have sent my saved file

i have this issue where i cannot start a new subsidiary I have merged two already and bankrupted one to try and fix but did not work

Is it a one-time occurrence? In other games you played, did you notice the same problem?

I did not really check on other games.. It is juz that this time I am accidently found it..
Theorticaly AI cant build or buy anything in the non sales zone..

I never saw AI building on non sales zone. Not sure what caused it. If it happens again, please let me know.
