Poll: Allow companies to build parks

Currently only city governments can build parks. Do you think companies too should be allowed to build parks?

In my view this is an overdue addition. Companies can build and "donate" other facilities, why not parks?

I don't know if my Memory is playing tricks on me but there was a time before one of the DLC's when we could also buy public facilities. They would stay in the Company name but it would be open to the public. I would really like if we could still to that. It would help my corporation to Pay less income taxe and help the City and indirectly my corporation .

It would be really useful when starting a new City . Private compagnies could help by investing in the infrastructures . In real Life it often happens. Where i live , the hockey stadium is privately own and there are some private funded universities. For exemple , the private universités are still under the gouvernent régulation but it helps to have some better schools.

As far as I can tell only the large parks (golf courses & swimming park) have any in-game relevance in the base game as they impact apartments and are unable to be bought. All smaller parks can be bought already and converted to ownable land with no in-game impact (apart from looks). Since we can already build public buildings it would feel like adding parks onto unowned land would make for a nicer look rather than blocks of colour, but would be against it if that land isn't reclaimable back to buildable land (if the land is to be donated back to the public it may as well be as tennis courts and get the residential bump).
