A "Quality of Life" UI improvement in the upcoming v5.7.00:
A new [Show filtered firms only] icon on the mini-map.
If enabled, only firms that match the filter criteria will be shown on the city view; other buildings will be hidden.
In the attached screenshots, the filter is set to retail firms only. After clicking on this new icon, only the filtered retail firms are shown on the city view. This provides you with a convenient way to view only the firms that you are interested in observing.
