Closed Beta Patch version 4.2.04 is now available

Closed Beta Patch version 4.2.04 is now available for download from:
http://12299.cdn.beyondhosting.net/caplab/CB4204.zip

Then extract the ZIP file to your Early Access version of Capitalism Lab program folder. You can open your Capitalism Lab program folder by right-clicking on the Capitalism Lab Post-release Beta game icon and select “Properties”, then select “Open File Location” to open the folder.

If you are using this DLC for the first time, you need to download the Installer of version 4.2.00 first. Please see this post for the details: http://www.capitalismlab.com/forum/view ... =16&t=3704

(The saved game files from versions older than 4.2.04 are not compatible.)

4.2.04 doesn't detect 4.2.03 save games, but at top it says its compatible ?

Also now 10+ CEO's can be Mayors, you need to add more people in game, starting a game with 9 opposing companies and 10 cities gives -

9 Company Owners
10 Mayors

10 Left over - and since its possible to add 40 more subsidiaries... that leaves things short.

(and that's with no. of AI persons set to 50 in script file).

since the last patch. my character always starts in a political party now as leader of one - no option to create my own. (nor is it possible to leave/join parties which should be an option).

Also members of my own party do not manage there cities properly, if you let game run a while they always have massive cash surplus and no education/health care etc funded. (The AI mayors do set these up)

personally im not keen on the smaller city sizes (I assume this is due to performance though)

Th intended gameplay is to let the player run the city via members of the player's party. Thus it is not automated.
