In the real world I wouldn't expect to see 5 Macy's Dept. Stores right next to each other and so I tend to lean towards the more real world examples of store placements which has me thinking I'm missing a lot of profits to be made.
Is there any real world semi-realism to Cap Lab or is it simply all about playing the numbers?
So, If I have a dept. store selling jeans in all 4 slots and there is still more demand than I can supply (and everybody in sales is fully trained), does it make financial sense to open up another dept store next door to sell more jeans, or does the AI peeps have any thoughts on how many of your stores crowd their cities?

just build another store next to your existing, doesnt matter if traffic numbers are the same and you use same shop, you gonna sell as good as in the shop next door. i often have 3 or 4 stores, selling same crap, next to each other and they all end up on level 9 fully overstretched .. could place another one next to it and its still not enough ;p
