Dividends not reported as earnings

Hi all,


I made a new game and have a basic corporate structure:

My company>Holding Company>Retail Company

The holding company and my retail company are private companies. The retail company makes significant profit, and pays a 90% annual dividend to my holding company. My holding company is set to pay a 100% dividend to my primary company.

The problem is, that the income the holding company receives through dividends, is not counted as earnings, and therefore the holding company, can not pay dividends to the primary company.
