Pensions and short selling and other institutions.

Post by baz »

Will there be a possibility of having pensions and other worker bonuses at all, as it would make for a very interesting part of the game. In the UK there's been several issues where the pension pots were used ie Robert Maxwell spending the companys entire pension as te was no rule against it at the time and now we have companys that have pension black wholes due to pensions not been fianaced correctly due to the past.

Another question is, Will there be short selling ( I think it's called that ) Ie Instead of purchasing shares on the hope the go up, instead you lease shares from someone and hope they go down. IE Porsche vs Hedge funds which allowed Porsche to buy a sizable chunk of VW. Also nearly bankcrupted the hedgefunds.

Another thing I would love to see in the stock market is other institutions and organisations buying shares IE in the real life general public, pension funds, financial institutions buy shares and also short sell along with corparate companys. This would easly improve what is a brillant stockmarket system.

I think I mentioned in an earlier post that Cap not only helped me in my business and finance education but also opened my mind once I got more engrossed on the questions I mentioned above but also from my previous post.

Again I know this is only a game but Trevor Chan has built a brilliant game and learning tool, and the things that i've mentioned in my posts would compliment and improve things even more.
