What I Would Add to the Game (or Features That Are Missing)

What I Would Add to the Game (or Features That Are Missing)
Hi everyone! The game is excellent, but there are a few things that could be improved: remove unnecessary routine, add more realism, and as a result, more interest. Here are three main suggestions.

1. Real Estate Agent Function

Problem: Finding land with maximum foot traffic is time-consuming, especially at the start of the game.
Solution:
Add a “Real Estate Agent” button after selecting the building type (supermarket, pharmacy, etc.).
Functionality:
Player enters:
Desired foot traffic value, e.g. 65 (the menu also shows the maximum possible value in this city, e.g. 98).
Or maximum budget (e.g., 5M).
The game automatically calculates:
Expected foot traffic (based on building size: 2×2, 3×3, 4×4).
Land price.
Number of available locations in the city.
“Show location” option: for a fee (e.g., 25k per tile), the target zone is highlighted on the map.
After that, the player can buy the land and build the store manually or automatically.
Optional: Unlock this feature after adding a “Real Estate” tile in the headquarters.
Additional:
“Buy land” button (similar interface).
“Sell all land and demolish buildings in city” button — sells all of the player’s land in the city, as well as buildings marked “For sale” (with automatic demolition).

2. Price Adjustment in Store

Problem:
(+ / –) buttons for changing the price are too small.
Requires repeated clicking and confirming the price each time (✓ / Enter).
Players care more about the overall rating (price, brand, quality) than the exact price.
Solution:
Enlarge the (+ / –) buttons.
Add similar buttons next to the overall rating:
[–] (rating value) [+]
Pressing them changes the rating by ±1, and the price updates automatically.
Alternatively: update the rating in real time as the price changes (no need to press Enter).
Analogy: During an IPO, all parameters (share percentage, amount, etc.) are displayed at once — do the same for prices.

3. Stock Exchange Order Book (Depth of Market)

Problem:
Currently, the player can only monitor the stock price, which changes once per day, and buy/sell shares without seeing the actual interest from other players (AI).
Solution:
Add an order book (Depth of Market, DOM) — a table of active limit orders to buy and sell shares.
Functionality:
Player and AI can place buy/sell orders at chosen prices.
Visible:
Order prices.
Volumes at each price level.
Best Bid and Ask, spread.
Why:
More realism, excitement, and convenience (no need to constantly monitor the price). This creates a truly believable, realistic stock trading feature. In effect, with this addition, the game becomes a genuine stock market simulator.
Would love to hear what you think?

The dev team was working on an auto-pricing feature recently and we just released it today. Please see this post for the details: https://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10806

Please give it a try and let me know if you like it.
