I played Capitalism many years ago, and in fact still have the CD of Capitalism II next to my keyboard. It's a lot of fun getting to know the game all over again. I wanted to play the Capitalism Lab Real World mod, but I see that I have to buy the Digital Age DLC. When I bought Capitalism Lab the only DLCs I bought are the Subsidiaries one and the City Economic Simulation one. Running a tech startup doesn't particularly interest me, but I suppose I will have to buy it because I definitely want to dive into the Real World mod.
One of the things I love about playing the game for the first time in many years is having another CEO approach me and ask to purchase a technology. It's great to realize that a particular technology I have is the best in the game world. And I love being able to say to the other company's CEO: "Forget it!"
I also love studying balance sheets and trying to optimize production at a particular factory.
I'm looking forward to many, many fun hours with this game!
