Items not selling (11.0.97)

in some cities some products suddenly stop selling:



- my factory produces enough
- there is no competition (even local one)
- the city is and has always been in a "booming economy" (since its founding 3-4 years ago)

other products of the same type still sell, and the same product sells in other cities.

I'm having this issue in several player-founded cities across almost all industries (drugs, watches, automobile, leather....)

I'm playing on 11.0.97 since that was listed as the current version in the main thread (but I saw that there's already a 12.0.3 or so available so might try that for the next run) so if this bug is known and already fixed just ignore this thread (however I didnt find any mention of it at a cursory glance over the forum)

edit2: also why is this game not eligible for the challenge ranking? Is it because I already have a failed attempt there? Or is it because the game version is too new (11.0.97) compared to the challenge version (11.0.55) but then it did still show me the game as an option so...

In your screenshot, your Rating is only 1 pt over the City's. I rarely see much in sales when it's at parity like that. Try lowering your price so the Rating is at least 5 over the City. You have plenty of margin to do that. The competition (even local) adjusts over time, so you may have been selling when your Rating had a larger advantage over the City.

thanks for the attempt, but thats not it.

I've had 20 advantage in other places and it still didnt sell. and the city average here is indeed just determined by my product, so no matter what I set, it'll always be exactly the same, as I'm only one selling this product in this city (or rather attempting to sell)
