Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta V12.0.26 full version installer now available.

Hello. Am I reading this correctly that any saved game prior to version 12.0.10 won't work with the latest version? even if i step through upgrading from version 10ish to 12? Are there any plans to have saved games work with the 12+ versions or did too many things change?

Please note that save game files from previous versions (earlier than v12.0.10) are not compatible with this new version.

Saves are never compatible between major versions, you wont be able to step through upgrading as your V10 save wouldn't work on version 11 either.

Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) Which version of Capitalism Lab you are using. You can see the version number on the top-right of the main menu.
2) The exact steps for triggering the bug in the save game
3) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.

You can find save game files of Capitalism Lab from:
C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab Post-Release Beta\SAVE

You may provide us with your save game file by posting it here on the forum as a ZIP file attachment or emailing the save game file to us at info@enlight.com.

Did you get the same error more than once?

It appears that the save file data may be corrupted. It’s unclear whether this is caused by the game itself or by an issue during file writing. Any chances that your hard disk has run out of space?

If you have an earlier save from the same playthrough, please share it. I can run it on my side, create multiple new saves, and check whether the problem occurs again.

I got the same error twice. Also when i saved the game i got a error but i didnt capture that and i dont have the save anymore. So i will need to run another game. As for storage i have plenty. I have 1.71TB free space

The dev team has changed some code related to loading and saving games in the new version 12.0.23. Please download the patch from https://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10561. It may resolve the issue.
