It would be even better if the business could be divided and packaged for sale separately.

Just like Li Ka-shing's sale of Orange Telecom and so many other business cases, if a certain business unit within the group can be bundled and sold rather than just sell some units, there will be more diverse scenarios and experiences. As a developer too, I know it's not easy to develop this kinda features. Thank you for considering my suggestion.

The best way to do this currently is to setup a subsidiary with the money to buy the factories/stores you want, and then make it a standalone business you sell via the stock market.

Potentially, a feature to package up a a company before floating it seems to be what you mean, but you can do it currently, it's just not a one menu task.
That said, it's not impossible, you just need to cash up the subsidiary to buy all the factories/stores you want, and if all else fails, you issue shares to inject cash and kick it off.

Selling it relies on the share market after an IPO from private company, and that needs to look attractive, just like any other spin-off company in the real world. Just like the real world, you can load it with debt, do funky ownership structures (especially if you have a few subsidiaries) and build its value before flogging off the shares.

Thanks for your explanation. Your method to some extent can indeed simulate this scenario. How come I didn't think of that? hhhhh. But if a certain business unit can be bundled and sold, I wanna buy their brand, technology, distribution channel, customer relations and so on, that's will be more interesting

Brand always resides with the company rather than the brand built on a product or range.

Technology can be bought from the parent to transfer it to the new company, and distribution remains in place (as does purchasing) until changed by the new owner or yourself.

This helps setup your profitability/share price increase if you are buying under market priced inputs to make/sell the products.
