Special settings in scripts

Post by TODD »

Dear David,

I recorded 4 lines below from previous topics in forum. They are not recorded in https://www.capitalismlab.com/scripts/s ... cs/#CESDLC.
What are limited ranges of these settings? And Public Facilities Capacity Modifier and Firm Employment Effect probably doesn't work.

Thank you!

[CITY ECONOMIC SIMULATION DLC]
Migration Rate Modifier=1000
//It modifies the rate at which people immigrate to a city. 100 is the standard value. A lower value means a slower migration rate.
Disable Local Economy=Yes
//When the local economy is disabled, there will be no local competitors selling products and no local businesses creating jobs.
Firm Employment Effect=200
// The effect of firms' job creations on the city's total employment.
// If this is larger than 1, then for each job created by a firm, the city's employed population size will be increased by 1 x <Firm Employment Effect> times.
Public Facilities Capacity Modifier=200

Are these suggestions for new features or are these actually existing script lines? I like the idea for those script lines...

They are existing script lines. But I forgot when and where I recorded them. At least the Firm Employment Effect was from this forum. 1~2 year ago, I was wondering how to increase the numbers of jobs that a firm can offer. So I found the Firm Employment Effect in this forum. But I couldn't find the orginal topic that was posted by others (Maybe deleted?). That was, someone asked the same question, and David? replied with Firm Employment Effect. Or maybe I got it wrong.

We have launched a webpage for Experimental Modifiers for the City Economic Simulation DLC
Please see:viewtopic.php?t=10254

Note that the public facility capacity modifier has been changed to public facility cost modifier.
