Re: my COO dont expand retail stores
From what I understand only the CEO (you or a subsidiary CEO) can decide to expand the company in terms of adding stores, factories, etc. The COO doesn't do any expanding.

ok , then i have to put a new CEO on the stores? what is the purpose of being able to put the COO then, if they don't expand them?

Re: my COO dont expand retail stores
The COO manages the stores - such as changing prices, products, etc which presumably makes the stores more effective and reduces micromanagement. But adding new stores is a job for a CEO, which is normally the human player (or a subsidiary company which can run it for you).tonyacx wrote: Thu Feb 27, 2025 1:44 pm ok , then i have to put a new CEO on the stores? what is the purpose of being able to put the COO then, if they don't expand them?
I am not sure if real life COOs will be in charge of expanding retail stores or not but I guess from a gameplay perspective it would just take too much out of the hands of the human player.

Just wanted to confirm that COOs do not build new firms. Only CEOs of subsidiaries will build new firms.I am not sure if real life COOs will be in charge of expanding retail stores or not but I guess from a gameplay perspective it would just take too much out of the hands of the human player.
