Bank Failures no indication besides the news

I'm experiencing an issue in my game where large Bank companies are failing but prior to them failing there's like no indication from the standpoint of a drop in their credit rating or stock price. Right now there's a company called ASUSTek who's failing as a result I believe of their bank operations (capital injections/essentially no operating cash).

The other bank that failed closed all their bank branches yet their stock still valued them at like 54 billion dollars when they were in the process of declaring bankruptcy my company was offered the ability to acquire them but we would have to have had $54 billion dollars to do so. We were not able to withdraw our money and the value of our equity in them (~25%) was still valued at $10 billion dollars. Nobody was selling their stock, from the Company > Firm page the bank shows a profit and a ton of bank assets.

I'm using my Not That Complex Script that makes bank failures possible I just don't understand why the valuation and credit ratings of these firms do not reflect the dire situation the companies are obviously in. Does make the game interesting but also scary as now I can't even trust placing our excess cash in the bank for safe keeping.

Update: They in a good place now I was paranoid because the last Bank that failed the CEO didn't issue new stock to raise cash I also think there's was not enough capital in the market to raise from but AsekTek was able to issue stock raise cash and seemed to have been able to right their ship. Wish I kept my stock investment in them and not panic sell.
