In the next major version of Capitalism Lab V11.0, you will have more options to control subsidiary CEO actions:
Restrict Subsidiary Expansion: You can now disallow subsidiary CEOs from setting up new Service Firms, Import and Export companies, giving you more control over the strategic direction of your subsidiaries.
Farming Expansion Limitation: You can now limit the farming expansion of your subsidiary CEOs. When the "Farming" option is disabled, CEOs will only establish new farms to supply agricultural inputs to production chains. When enabled, CEOs will actively set up farms and produce agricultural products for retail.
Bond Issuance Control: You can now prevent subsidiary CEOs from issuing bonds to fund business expansion. However, if a company runs out of cash, the CEO will still be able to issue bonds to ensure its survival, regardless of this setting.

They are not removed. It was just that when the screenshot was taken, the Digital Age DLC was not enabled.cantdownloadit wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2024 3:30 pm How come expand in Telecom and Expand in Software and expand in internet have been removed ?

I just had another look at this - will these changes also allow control over whether subsidiaries can build shopping malls?

I like to open many subs and themselves to have some subs but then there is no easy way to see the tree structure of your "empire"
In the Corporate Details View it just show they are my subs but not the direct parent or grand parent(!)
It would be nice to have a tree/graph view of your corporation and subs

This is an interesting idea - a neat way of finding out who owns what. Structured as a tree. It wouldn't even need to be for subsidiaries, you could just have a tree that simply tabulated the percentages of who owned what, even having two arrows if both corps had mutual ownership of each other.beuher2000 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2024 6:08 pm I like to open many subs and themselves to have some subs but then there is no easy way to see the tree structure of your "empire"
