1. Can we add a search filter option in firms like we have when sourcing products for warehouses/factories/retail stores? I tend to end up aggregating firms under subsidiary because this ends up being a nightmare to try and sort, and you can't actually filter firms beyond top level grouping (ie retail store, factory, farm, which usually means even if I name my firms with a standardized system, I'm still SOL in being able to easily find a firm or track it). Same issue happens for R&D with finding a specific R&D firm, the tech in R&D tab helps to track what is ongoing but if I have an idle firm for something then it won't show up there.
2. When layout is applied, rather than overwriting, can it leave existing units in tact if they are the same? One tactical issue is sometimes I'll not set up all of a firms units like retail store with 4 purchase/sale pairs, then later if I add a new product I must add this to every retail firm. I'd love to just create a layout I can apply. Issue is, if I apply the layout, as is it appears to overwrite the existing unit which means the links need to be readjusted, but more importantly the utilization and the inventory in the existing units gets erased. I'd love it if the layout verified before applying if there's actually a difference in unit and product and only modified the delta vs blanket replace everything
3. More frequent dividend cadence. If I have many subsidiaries it becomes a hassle to end up getting them to all do special dividends, I'd love it if I could just make dividends happen monthly so I get this automatically depositing funds to my parent company
4. More accurate breakdown of market share? Even in product details page I find the proportion of pie chart is wildly off at times if I look at the unit quantity sold vs total quantity sold for all cities or a given city. As a separate note I've noticed once or twice my units sold exceeds the city estimate of total units sold which seems odd. Either way, being able to verify what percent of market share I have already would be helpful. I've checked the % icon in this screen but it appears to show what % of product sales in a city or regions I constitute (Ie i saw it show 100 before likely as I have a monopoly but doesn't show my portion of market share vs locals which tells me how much more I need to produce or can earn from incremental market)
5. Some way to assess ad load for a given media or internet advertising firm. I realized once it wasn't a good idea to concentrate all advertising into my singular largest reach internet company when my brand value didn't change much, then found miraculous results once I spread it across multiple advertising clients. Could be a % of ad load or in $ bills. I was micro managing this myself, unsure if this is something CMO would've solved (issue is I have many subsidiaries and my CMO won't manage the ads on those so I tend to need to micro manage things myself and can't tell if the ad load on my internet firm has maxed out (is there a formula for this? I am guessing CPM * reach would tell me the maximum ad load it can handle?).
A simple approach may be showing a supply demand bar just like we have for sources of materials, products, etc, showing this for the advertisers would give an idea if it has no ad supply left to fulfill your attempts to advertise.
6. I'd love to have a way to assess what proportion of demand a factory is capable of assessing (something like this factory produces X% of the products sold in this city). I usually manually have to compare the quantity produced vs demand for it in PDP and do math to figure out how many more factories and resource inputs I need.

Re: QoL Improvement Suggestions
1) I recommend that you give the search box feature a try - please see the attached screenshot.1.
2) I also recommend that you post your suggestions on the Suggestions forum at http://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=14
And I suggest that you create a poll for your suggestion to gauge the community's interest in it. There would be a higher chance that the dev team will implement it if the interest level is high.
You could see some examples of the polls in the Suggestions forum at http://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=14
