Error with export company

Hi Devs, I am having an issue with the export company I have around 10 substeries and I am trying to help them with export deals how when trying to select the factory to buy it from it's not letting me change the sub it's on the list isn't showing up which is strange? Let me know if you would like to look into this and require my save.

Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) Which version of Capitalism Lab you are using. You can see the version number on the top-right of the main menu.
2) The exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game
3) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.

You can find save game files of Capitalism Lab from the C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab\SAVE

You may provide us with your save game file by posting it here on the forum as a ZIP file attachment or emailing the save game file to us at info@enlight.com.

I am having the same problem. When trying to select the supplier in the export company, it allows me to select the product and the city, but I can't select the company. It defaults to my parent company and does not let me change it.

From what I can see your company is exporting ?
(cant try save as old game and old mod version).

The company is for your exports, not your subsidiaries, if they want an export company they need to build there own ?

(If you could export from any company then the 2 cap limit on export companies would be circumventable would it not?)

Initially, all saves allowed exporting from any company, including competitors.

When this option stopped working, I thought it was a bug, unless that's the idea (exporting only from one's own company).

In this case, there are ways to work around the situation using a warehouse, I don't know if it's possible to export as a competitor's brand or if it would require private labeling.

I just need to know if this is a bug or if it's the intended design of the game to keep the exporter this way.

It is the intended design that only allows an export company to export products from its own firms.

I understood, but I'm still having the problem. From what I noticed, it doesn't get stuck on my own company, it always gets stuck on the last company in the dropdown list, whether it's mine or not.

Fairly sure i reported that and it was fixed, you are using an old version
