Bug with Modern Day and Real World mod

The number for competitors I set in settings is never reflective in gameplay..When I set 40 I get 5 in Real World mod and only mine in modern day mod

I just tested it and I didn't encounter the issue.

You could let the game run for a few days and new companies will emerge.

I've also noticed this from time to time - as well as the AI not creating the desired number of each company type you ask for. Are you able to disclose how the selection process works when you try and determine an exact number of companies of various types? How does the AI select the rest for example? Does it fill them up to the amount of overall companies you have specified, but barring the ones you have selected?
eg. You say in the script you want 5 retailers, 2 internet firms, 2 computer firms, but 40 firms overall. Does the AI create 5/2/2 and then mix the rest up between all the types left over, or does it mix the remaining 31 including the types that you specifically asked for?
