Borderless Windowed Mode random freeze

Hi everyone,
Is there a way to avoid the random freezes that I get while playing borderless windowed mode?. My laptop freezes with the sound of the game and I have to hard restart the laptop. This happens to me random after a while

You may try the following solution:

1) Right-click on the Capitalism Lab icon to open the properties window.
2) Select the “Compatibilities” tab and enable the Windows XP compatibility option.
3) Enable the option "Run this program as an administrator."
4) Click “Change high DPI settings” and then enable the option "Override high DPI scaling behavior."
5) Run the game.

Ok Thanks David. I will play with this configuration then and I will see. If it avoids crashes, shouldn't it be set by default?

It didn't work. I tried the latest version 8.0.04 with this configuration and It froze after a while, I had to restart the computer. I never end up playing this game for very long, in less than 1 hour it freezes me.

Have you tried running the game in windowed mode instead of borderless windowed mode? Did it have the same problem?
