Tried the game again. Sadly the UI is way too small on a 4k monitor. So I tried windowed with a lower resolution but that just uses a smaller portion of the screen so no solution. Then tried fullscreen mode and now it's trying to switch to that resolution and then crashes. Same happen when I check the "force running in 1024x768" checkbox on the login screen. So right now the game isn't even starting at all anymore. Can you tell me if there is config file or registry setting to revert it to the borderless state manually which is starting at least.
This on Windows 10, 2080rtx with a 3 monitor setup.

Re: Crash on fullscreen
You may try the following solution:
1) Right-click on the Capitalism Lab icon to open the properties window.
2) Select the “Compatibility” tab of the properties window.
3) Click the [Change high DPI settings] button.
4) On the page for changing the high DPI settings, check "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:" and select "Application".
In addition, in your My Documents folder, you can find "My Games" folder and "Capitalism Lab" subfolder, please delete the file CONFIG.DAT.
