Why mouse moves so slow in the game

Even if I run it in a windowed mode, my mouse moves smoothly in my desktop. But when it moves in the game screen, I can obviously feel the lag.

Firstly determine which of the following cases is true, then we will investigate it further.

Just checked, it indeed has a fps issue.

If I do nothing, fps maintains 60. But once I move my mouse, it immediately drops to only 1. Plus, I notice when I move my mouse, the animations(cars on the road, ferris wheel) of the background also freeze.

I played the 6.3.07 full version (no mod and no DLC) and I did not experience the same issue from other games.

Some specs may be useful: win10 lastest version, amd ryzen5 1600, gtx1060, 16g ram.

You may try the following solutions:


SOLUTION 1:
1) Right-click on the Capitalism Lab icon to open the properties window.
2) Select the “Compatibilities” tab and enable the Windows XP compatibility option.
3) Enable the option "Run this program as an administrator."
4) Click “Change high DPI settings” and then enable the option "Override high DPI scaling behavior."
5) Run the game.

SOLUTION 2:
On the Capitalism Lab launcher, you will see the option “Force running in 1024x768 full screen mode.” (below the [Login] button). Please select that option before clicking on the [Login] button and see if it will run the game successfully.

You may try disabling G-SYNC compatible (G-SYNC over free sync monitor) and see if it will resolve the problem.

A user has reported that disabling G-SYNC resolved the mouse cursor slowness problem.

I have no such kind of monitor. But I still tried to forcefully turned off general SYNC in nvidia control panel, no work.

Also, I figured out an issue in windows task manager that when running the game, GPU usage reached to around 90% (it is a GTX1060 GPU with the latest drive, and I have no integrated GPU), even if I already used a software to cap the fps to 60. I have no idea why it happened, but now I can say that this issue turns to why the game uses GPU so much?

Did you newly purchase Capitalism Lab and it is the first time you played the game? Or you have used an old version of Capitalism Lab before and you recently upgraded Capitalism Lab to this latest version 6.3.07?

Nope. I bought it in 2014 I guess. I played it for years, it ran very well along with every patch. But I afk for recent 1 or 2 years. So I guess the issue appreared in recent versions.

1) I do not recall that the dev team has made any changes to the mouse cursor function. It should be the same all along. Have you been using the same computer and Windows version all these years? The change in Windows version and drivers may affect it.

2) Did the mouse speed improve when you run it in full screen mode?
