Re: (MOD) REALWORLD 11.24 for all DLC (by Piermario)
I complete removed the game, the game files in the installation directory and all of the personal files (saves, factory layout plans etc..)
Install Caplab 5.0.11 and installed realworld 11.24.
start cablab and enable all the dlc.
start a new game, it works
enable realworld
start new game, game crash.

Re: (MOD) REALWORLD 11.24 for all DLC (by Piermario)
As it is now RealWorld requires that Digital Age DLC is installed and turned On. Subsidiary DLC and City Economic Simulation DLC are both optional.
I don't know if Piermario will make a Realworld that does not require Digital Age DLC. (and maybe name it RealManufacturing
)
Most of the products are unrelated to the DLC, so there will still be a lot of extra products.
But I guess it requires a lot of work removing all the products, features etc. that require the DLC.

Re: (MOD) REALWORLD 11.24 for all DLC (by Piermario)
In the v11.24, at least one of the products requires the item whose code is "SDB" as an input. But this item is a software product which is only available in Digitial Age DLC.
When the game starts without Digital Age DLC enabled, an error will occur, because the input "SDB" cannot be found.
To resolve, the product list should be modified to prevent any products from using any software products as inputs.

Re: (MOD) REALWORLD 11.24 (it requires Digital Age DLC to run) and 11.23 for all DLC (by Piermario)
Hello guys, Real World version 11.23 it's last version in use with all DLC.
Now i will develope 11.24 version but it will require Digital Age DLC because i think it has a big potential expecially using software products for new service industry.
I update the links in 1st page.
Ciao!

May I Suggest that you split RealWorld into 2 "branches"
Real World 11.24 becomes "RealWorld Digital Age":
The development of RealWorld as planned
RealWorld 11.23 becomes "RealWorld Basic" or "RealWorld Old/Industrial Age":
Any additon to RealWorld Digital Age that does not require Digtal Age DLC is added here too.
It wouldn't Require Digtal Age DLC if e.g. Rye and Blackbread and maybe a Fish Shop were added to RealWorld Digital Age, so it could be added to RealWorld Basic too.
I haven't tried RealWorld 11.23 so i can't tell if there is any non-Digital Age stuff added in Realworld 11.24.
But if the is, you could start by adding them to Realworld Basic too.

Re: (MOD) REALWORLD 11.25 (it requires Digital Age DLC to run) and 11.23 for all DLC (by Piermario)
In v11.23 Mega factories produces same quantities as ordinary ones. And they cost double.
Re: (MOD) REALWORLD 11.25 (it requires Digital Age DLC to run) and 11.23 for all DLC (by Piermario)
This could be due to the 20k cargo cap. What this means is that regardless of factory size, you can only produce a certain amount of "cargo units" (which are capped I believe at $20k). This is a known problem with CPU for example that have a high value but also a high scalability (unlike cars for example). See here: http://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewto ... =13&t=4202 for more.
I might be wrong, but I think this would have more of an impact in larger factories as they would hit the cap more quickly.
