So lets have a vote what you guys think.
Also moving your cursor to the edges of the map should give smooth movement around the map. Its quite bad right now. What do you think ?

Re: Map scrolling.
i tried alt + arrowkeys and i really feel like switching between cities/firms should be alt + arrowkeys instead of map scrolling being that.

Re: Map scrolling.
Are you using a notebook computer?
Have you tried connecting a mouse to your notebook while playing CapLab and see if it improves the control?

Re: Map scrolling.
You can simply move the mouse to the edge of the screen and it will scroll.
Personally, I use this method to scroll the city view.

Re: Map scrolling.
i support mightyfalls in his idea to switch the (alt+)arrow keys from switching between cities to the map scrolling.
I never use the arrow keys to switch between cities (always use the city overview window or the arrow buttons above minimap.
I do scroll around the map much and im sure alot other players do too.
So logicly the basic arrow would be to scroll around the map, while the alt(ernate) function would be switching between cities.
Just my 2 cents, its up to the devs to decide

Re: Map scrolling.
We have implemented this shortcut too:
Space - Open the firm detail window of the current selected firm. If no firm is currently selected, it will automatically select the next available firm within the current filter. If a firm is already selected, it will show the next firm within the current filter.
Hint: Set the filter to “My Firm” and use Space key to examine your firms conveniently.
-----
Basically, you can press Space key to go to the first firm in the filter and then use arrow keys to browse the firms and cities. Personally, I found it very convenient.
So I would encourage all of you to try this new method.
For those who still prefer the old way, you may post your feedback here and tell us why you prefer the old method.
If we see enough posts preferring the old method, we may consider reverting the control for this back to the original settings.

Re: Map scrolling.
Instead of forcing people to use what someone thinks is the best, let them select by them self. This is in any circumstances the best way.
