No Competitiveness Rating for Semi Products
No Competitiveness Rating for Semi Products
I choose a university to set Focused Products for my Semi Products, but there's no Competitiveness Rating even if I put max funding in it. Why isn't it working? If we wish to build an ecosystem from all the inter-media products, shouldn't Semi Products be competitive against each other in R&D speed?

Re: No Competitiveness Rating for Semi Products
This is a bug as the product range of semi products is too large and it is not logical that it can be researched as a single category. Also the City Competitiveness Ratings only apply to finished products in the current game system.
In the next build v4.2.04, semi products will be removed from the selection list.

On the other hand, is it possible using mod to "group" semi-products into various different classes. Obviously in the real world parts and components are categorized. Or can we make products that are both retail and semi-intermedium at the same time for them to have competitiveness rating (with mod perhaps)?
