CapLab version 1.912 patch available

CapLab version 1.912 patch is now available. You may download it from the CapLab FTP. To apply the patch, simply unpack it to your CapLab folder containing version 1.910 or 1.911, using WinRAR.

If you are upgrading from 1.910, you can skip 1.911 and upgrade to 1.912 directly.

Please note that saved games of the previous versions are not compatible with this new version.

Bug fixes / improvements:


The warehouse storage sometimes hogs all the goods until it is full before it gives any to the output, and when it does, it does it for all output and waits again until storage is full

Increased the size of the research screen so that all 6 options are always visible. (At the moment, one is always missing)

I found another bug. When scrolling with a mouse wheel in the Corporations list or the Products lists, the list will not go to the bottom item. You need to click on the down arrow to get there

Bug: I buy land 2x2, then I try to build Apartment 2x2 on this land, but then I get asked if I want to sell the land?

Fixed the bug with stock-focused AI company

Reduced the effect of PR department in your headquarters for increase corporate brand awareness for better gameplay balancing.

Note: The effect of PR on your corporate brand awareness grows more slowly than advertising, but lasts longer than advertising effect. i.e. When you stop spending on advertising, corporate brand awareness drops quickly. On the other hand, the PR effect on corporate brand awareness will last for a longer period of time after you have stopped spending on PR.

Increase the likelihood of AI building commercial buildings

Fine-tuned the city office supply and demand.

Improved AI on R&D

Local competitors will catch up on production quality better, especially when the local competitiveness is set to high.

The impact of boom and bust on consumer demand will be increased. You may evaluate it and let us know if you feel more impact with the boom and bust cycles on your business.
