Bugs(2): Research screen enlargement & Research benefits

Hi David

Could you increase the size of the research screen so that all 6 options are always visible? (At the moment, one is always missing)


Also, looking at the research options, I cant see why anyone would research any more than 2 years at a time (See screenshot below)

At 2 years, the research benefit is 56

Going down
1 year is 25 (25x2 = 50 < 56) 2 years better
6 months is 9 (9x4 = 36 < 56) 2 years is better

Going up
3 years is 85 (56x1.5 = 84) 3 years is better by 1 point (Insignificant)
5 years is 140 (56x2.5 = 140) same as 2 years
10 years is 273 (56x5 = 280) 2 years is better

So going any more than 2 years is not worth it as the difference is marginal and you need to wait much longer before enjoying any benefits

Will increase it.

We lowered the gains for 3,5 and 10 years after our discussions of tech disruption (you may see earlier post on this.)

You may start another game without tech disruption and the gains for 3,5 and 10 years will be higher.
