you mean you wanna take part of the boardmeetings of every company you hold a share and cast your vote to every decision that needs a boardmeeting? to be outvoted by the remaining shareholders aslong as you dont hold 50.1% / 75% you would have to write a whole new game to get this and its in relation to the business irrelevant what you vote as you dont have majority of shares. to just be able to tell an A.I. company to do what ya want because you own 0.01% is not gonna happen else i gonna go, buy 1 share of microtrash and tell microsoft to stop selling virus10 and start to roll out windows xp again. :)

of course it would be damn nice and you gonna get some lovely board meetings then just clicking stiff, but i doubt this is possible to implement.

no if I own 1% of a company I should have some influence with the CEO at least but not as much as if I owned 10%

Allgedgelly if how an AI feels towards you it gives you a greater chance to buy technology and firms from them at Fair or below a fair market price. Unfortunately the only way i've seen this feeling move is if you hire the AI and give raises or fire. I don't hire every AI so if there's a way to gain influence to move points I think would make the game more interesting.

I do feel this is somewhat of a RPG. i'm still brainstorming a way to implement board members so I may start a separate discussion on that.

I'll repeat my question once I already asked it in this thread.
Is it a Business Simulator or RPG?

And add another one: what is the goal of this change? What do you want to achieve by this change?

From my end I can offer an example from real life. There was a story in Russia when 2 people co-owned a major business holding. I don't know what happened between them but one day one of them found out that from now on he has absolutely no power over a multi-billion business in which he holds 50%-1 shares. Fortunately later they successfully split their business but it is another story.

To a certain extent this is a RP/Business Simulator game.

The goal of this propose change is to make the attitude towards you actually mean something and to extend this feature which is already in the game. In business the relationships you have and/or develop with people can help greatly in achieving success. Currently in the game if you own 80% of say Power Company the CEO of power company doesn't even know who (according to the attitude towards you % he will have). With my propose suggestion if you own 80% of Power Company the CEOs attitude towards you say is 5% (hypothetically). Now it appears he knows who you are, he knows you're invested in his company etc. So if he has a technology you want, now when you go to negotiate whereas he would've previously not been open to selling the technology to you (attitude at 0%) he is willing to sale it to you but at a higher than fair market price (attitude towards you is now 5% compared to 0%).

Currently the attitude towards you seems to only be affected by an employment relationship I'm asking that this feature be expanded, in this case, to take into account business relations. We could even take it a step forward, if they do 500 million in business with your firm or more on a yearly bases the CEO attitude towards you should not be 0%.

As I remember, in game Attitude is driven by the money you pay AI person when hiring/firing him as a a manager in your company and is used for future management position negotiations only.
In all other cases Attitude soes not matter. Decisions to sell you a technology or not are driven by business reasons only. Pure capitalism. Nothing personal.

Probably so my suggestion is an expansion of this outside of pay and management. :-).

I think that your idea is totally artificial.

The fact that you bought some shares on stock exchange cannot affect someone's attitude towards you.
