CFO
We need to introduce a CFO to help human players invest their access capital. My only work around has been to start a stock-focused subsidiary. The basic is we allocate X dollars to the CFO and set some ROI/Risk parameters and give them compensation based upon the performance of the investments.

Re: CFO
You mean you want an AI to auto invest in stocks for you? I mean its certainly an interesting idea but I think it kinda takes some of the fun away as you would just be passively making money without really putting any effort in.
In the case of a subsidiary company - how do you even do that? Just buy a stock focused company? I tried starting a company and taking away all their options except investment and merging and they just sat there and did nothing.

Re: CFO
Yep. I did exactly what you did but instead of buying a stock focused company I started a subsidiary, hired a CEO who's personality (??) was to invest in stocks. Took all options away made sure its business focus was stock investment and funded it with 150 billion dollars initially. It started investing, for the CFO idea I just want to allocate money to the office of the CFO and it invests in equities/bonds on behalf of the corporation.
Currently down 12 billion but overall up 82 billion and I just do a Capital Infusion when their cash position is low. Still sits on a ton of cash but I take it, its looking for the right investment opportunities but it has also missed some great ones that the other AIs have picked up when it comes to the local stock market.

Re: CFO
I also sometimes create a subsidiary to invest in stocks, I put some money in it and send the CEO with maximum expertise available in (investing stocks) and after about 5 to 10 years I click to merge the companies with mine, so the company shares become mine (of the main holding company)
When I saw the title of the post, I thought that the CFO would be, for example, head of the banking and insurance areas, for example, so I agree, because the existing AIs are too stupid to manage banks and insurance companies.
