Beta v1.989 - Error opening file IMAGE\sp-chal.COL

Hello,
I got the following error by clicking on the 'Single Player Game' button:
- Error message
- C2L.png (146.79 KiB) Viewed 2267 times
I tried to delete the CONFIG.DAT file, nothing changed.
I am using Windows 7 x64.

Could you let me know if you upgraded to 1.989 via auto patch or you downloaded and applied the patch manually?

Please try downloading the v1.989 patch and apply it and see if it works for you (We have added the files from 1.980 to 1.989 so you can now apply it without upgrading to 1.980 first)

I applied the patch downloaded manually on the freshly installed game dir.
I didn't notice anything on the v1.989 thread saying another step was required.
I'll provide feedback on your new bundled patch ASAP.

I reinstalled the patch with the link you provided to me.
THe problem is now solved.
