v8.0.13 - Interest still being paid on loan that should have been off balance sheet by now

Version: v8.0.13
Issue: There are only two banks in-game right now — My company owns both through subsidiaries.
None of my companies has any current loans owed to the banks:
However, the balance sheet of one of my subsidiaries still has it showing a $6b loan liability for a loan that was taken out more than five years ago:
That subsidiary is still PAYING INTEREST on that note that should have been paid off by now. This is negatively impacting my net book value and net income:
