Capitalism 2 and Capitalism Lab Forum

Hi everybody

I have purchased CL a few days ago but when I try to play it in my Mac using Virtual Box it has a lot of mouse lag. Any idea, trick or suggestion in order to fix the issue? I have tried to find something on internet before but have nothing found

Thanks for your answer. I have followed the video and there is nothing on it about how to improve the performance. In fact, they have the same problem. If you go to minute 21.35 https://youtu.be/Qn4Jm-qMNcE?t=1286 you may see the same problem. There is an evident lag in the mouse pointer. In my case is even worse and I have tried with many configurations already.

I do know that CL is for Win but I would love to find a workaround to solve these issue.

You may try modifying the compatibility settings of the launcher and main program of Capitalism Lab - CAPSTART.EXE and CAPMAIN.EXE in the following way:

1) Right-click on the program icon to open the properties window.
2) Select the “Compatibilities” tab and enable the Windows XP compatibility option.

Did that already days ago and nothing and I have tried as well many different configurations (Within Vbox app and the Virtual machine itself).
