Why can I only build, and run Department stores, while AI's have all of the other stores available to use?

Maybe I am doing something wrong?

When you click on the little hammer on the right top of the screen select retail store and you can slect the type of retail store you need.

It's weird. I just started a new Random difficulty game, and I had all the buildings. Is there an option for all the retail store types?

This is what I see on my current saved game though:

Yes there is an option in the settings called retail store types
The options are "One" or "Many"

If "One" is selected, that is the only store type available.

What mwyeoh says is true.
But its weird it doesnt seem to be only dep. store for the AI. A bug perhaps ?
