This is what I get after starting the game? Any ideas? There is no picture, only music is playing. I run win xp sp 3

You may try the fullscreen mode and see if the problem persists.

Here are the steps:

1) download the latest version 1.950

2) To apply the patch, simply unpack it to your Capitalism Lab program folder.

Your Capitalism Lab is located in C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Capitalism Lab Beta, unless you changed the installation folder on the installer.


3) Put a dummy file called FULLSCR.SYS on the same Capitalism Lab program folder. You may just duplicate any file there and rename it as FULLSCR.SYS
When the game detects this file, it will run in full screen mode.

4) See if the problem is resolved or persists in the full screen.

Are you sure about the patch - latest pach is "CapLab version 1.971 patch is now available", I must mention I installed game in different folder then the default

You may download the full installer for v1.971 from the following link:

ftp://caplabbeta:capeco386@enlight.exav ... taller.exe

Then you may uninstall your current version and run the v1.971 installer.
