Hi,

I've been thinking of a idea that would greatly help the game the size of our companies inscreases .I am the kind of player that likes having many corporation under my belt and have them concentrante on specific sectors of activity.

For exemple, i have a subsidiary that's concentrantes on Retail . So all it does is open and manages my different retail stores. Here are two scénarios of me acquiring a big competitor :

1- The competitor is privately own : First of all, I can only buy it with my parent Company . Once i bought it , I have to go to each retail store and transfer it to my retail subsididiary. You can understand that when i am 50 years into a game , it can Get pretty time consuming.

2- The competitor is public : I have my subsidiary by all its stocks and merge with it. Then again , Once i bought it , I have to go to each retail store and transfer it to my retail subsididiary.

So here are my two propositions :

1. To have the possibility to use a subsidiary to Buy a private corporation.

2. To be able to mass Transfer a sector of activity from one compagnie to another if its 75% own by the same parent compagny and the compagny thats getting the firms has enough cash.

Its an idea so if you have other ways to implémenta it have a go at it

I´d go a bit further, and instead of mass transfers would make selective transfers by firm category: Natural resources to this company, leather stores to that other, etc.
Mass transfer is a must do!

That's a gréât Idea . I really hope people are going to vote for this idea.

this is a great idea which i am a fan of and think would really make the game more fun miromanagement is fun, but when you have literally hundreds of branche, shops, factories etc etc it really gets too long to change ownership of the businesses also being able to buy ai companies using your sub will really help too, as most the time i use a sub to own most my companies

It even has an interface mock-up. Please take a look at it and let me know if you like the interface suggested in the post.

I find the interface interesting. The only thing is ithink it should be made a bit easier. So instead of having to clic on each firm in the menu. You would have a département in your headquarters where you could select a whole sector of Activity.

Could you provide an interface layout/mock-up illustrating your suggestion so that I can understand it better?

And how about adding a [Select All] button to the interface mock-up created by the other user? Would that make selecting a whole sector of firms easier?

I Think a sélect all Button would do the job. I was thinking about having it in the headquarter but if we can simplify the process with the interface mock-up of the other user it would be nice .

As part of this change, all firms should be transferable. Currently, any firm associated with a DLC (i.e. banking, software, etc.) can't be transferred.
