Suggestion: XL Factories or "Double capacity" modules

Hi David

This is a suggestion a made a while back. I would still like to see either XL factories, or the presence of "double capacity" modules available in L sized factories (Double the number of workers) or the ability to upgrade existing modules (Not their level, but base capacity)

This will be improved in version 1.97 in the following way:

Reduced the total product demand of all product types in an effort to reduce micromangement. It will be less likely that the player has to open many retail stores and factories for a single product type in order to satsify all the demand. Since AI is playing with the same rules, the game is supposed to be as challenging as the previous version. But the player company’s total revenue and the AI companies’ total revenues will be smaller than the previous version, thus reducing the amount of micromanagement.

You may try the new version and see if there are still needs for larger capacity factories.

For this to work, the Local AI's tech ability would also have to be adjusted downwards otherwise corporations would never make a profit)

The following change will make it easier for the player and AI to make profits, to compensate for the reduced demand.

Now you can buy from seaports from any cities, no matter where your firms are based.
