Hi,
The AI doesn't do production anymore except the early computer and software when the Digital age is enabled.
When the digital Age DLC is disabled, i had to wait for more than 10 years for an AI to set up car production assembly. there was no food, no cloth only selling the products of the port.
I tried different settings and the randomize but to no avail. I installed the last version 5.9.02 and the problem is still here.
Is there some setting that i am missing, or is it a normal behaviour?

The AI has a tendency of doing R&D first before setting up production. If you set the overall difficulty level to 4 or above, and run the game for 3-5 years, you will see AI start to produce a variety of products.

Thanks for your answer, i don't know what happened but it takes at least 10 years for the IA to start something and sometimes forever , i tried all difficulties.
But once i removed the game cleaned the folders and installed the beta V6, the IA is now producing products earlier. I probably was having some mod ( Real world ) issues even after disabling it.
Now everything is good with v6 beta

Never seen this before. AI fills all the markets available to them. Maybe your game has a certain starting conditons like, say, not enough AI competitors. In Cap Lab the more competitors the better. Or as an example there are no seaports and they just lack raw materials.
