So I just remembered due to a post about a CEO salary capped at 100K

The Banking DLC is the PERFECT time to introduce stock options for executives and at least the CEO of subsidiary companies.

I don't think that it is a good idea as long as AI is so ridiculously stupid. I don't mind to give some stocks to AI but there's no actual profit in doing so.

I totally agreed that AI is stupid, there are no challenges to this game.

Umm....I want to award stock options to my stupid AI executives. Especially when I obtain 85% of their company for pennies on the dollar and then make them work for couple thousand a year.

Just because the AI is stupid doesn't necessarily mean it shouldn't be integrated into the game. After all, you can play how you want. Perhaps an option allowing for them to be in the game or not would be ideal.

William, I personally like the idea as I felt that salary control is largely lacking.

William, I understand that you're RPG fan but it does not mean that every mean to stupidly spend player's money should be introduced into the game.
Capitalism is a strategy, not RPG. In strategy games players are not supposed to do stupidity. They are supposed to make decisions. Good decisions earn you money, bad decisions lose your money.
As I said, there are no upsides for this idea in this game. And there will definitely be a downside. It will be an element in the interface that will waste space on monitor, waste time and require effort to avert pushing a stupid button that will under no circumstances earn you money.

For such an in-depth strategy game some RPG elements would be nice. I mean there have been instances were this game has been used by teachers. I find more enjoyment playing it from a RPG prospect while still making decisions.

I see no correlation between teaching and RPG. Anyway you missed main point of my message because of your roleplaying.

Everyone can have an opinion, and we can all disagree to their opinion. I'm sure David will agree, let's be respectful to one another despite a disagreement. Move along gentlemen.
