Advanced factory/farm

Hello.
I was thinking maybe the 3x3 layout is not bad at all. It´s just missing some further implementation.
Let me offer an idea:
Farms and factories are one size, and that is 3x3 squares. That way each map square corresponds with one square from the layout.
Then from that 1st building you can add another 3x3 building connected to the previous one, to take advantadge of the first farm/factory layout, and have then a 3x6 farm or factory, and so on.
You can place inputs/outputs just in the squares that touch the roads.
