I have some ideas we could talk about

Partnership

Both companies could benefit from different things, for example

- Lower prices for buying materials & goods from the company you partnered with /vice versa.
- Sharing of technology between two partnered companies until the contract expires.
- Borrow money from your partner company for a lower rate of interest than the bank. (If partner company have enough funds).
- Faster R&D rate.
- Buying shops/buildings or land for a lower price if its currently on sale by the partner.
- Co-production of goods which both companies are allowed to sell simultaneously. (When producing this way chances of higher sells could increase).

Law & corruption

- Antitrust suit, suing other companies for being too dominant on the market or a line of business. (<50 % market share).
- Patent claim, suing for infringe of a patent by a competitor. (meaning that we could buy patents on products).
- Rumors (resulting in lower sales for the aiming company when successful spread).
- Harassing lawsuit (as a result of the idea above).
- Tax fraud (high chances of getting caught but still possible, when caught results could be : bad press -> lower sales , heavy fine , loosing current partnership (if existing).

The contract between the companies could be divided into short and longtime ones. (12-48 months)

I like this idea

Some things are too typical for some regions in the world but I like the gest of it. Corruption and stuff shouldn't become too difficult to handle in a game. It should be there i.e. but without micromanaging it.
