Why can't I find buildings.dbf, or images/buildings folder in the mod_kit folder in the new 2.7.00 beta? I have to manually add them?

Ok I've seen the update, and at lot of images for buildings. Since there's a folder called "Buildings (Original)", does that means it can be "replaced" within that folder, or any new buildings images have to be placed in the buildings and building_icons folder to get packed inside the mod, and those in "Buildings (Original)" don't need to get packed? (and the original folder doesn't contain original icons for build menu, hence any new icons for new buildings have to be manually designed by modder as well?)

It's interesting to see a building called Internet  So, is there a future plan to "simulate" Internet company as well? It would be interesting to get different type of infrastructure building that include new mechanism, like data center, Information industries don't follow the traditional manufacturing process model, so I don't think it's quite possible purely using just mod to "mimic" them yet.

Yes, any new buildings images have to be placed in the buildings and building_icons folder to get packed inside the mod, and those in "Buildings (Original)"

Correct.

You're right. It is not possible as we are still trying to figure out a feasible way to let players customize new types of firms in the service industry.
