Here is a preview of the new interfaces related to government buildings.
The mini-map has a new mode that shows the geographical coverage of different types of civic buildings.

Do we really get area-effect like those service buildings in Simcity games? City halls have no coverage, so it's a center with other intended functions?

The Overall Satisfaction rating displayed in the report is determined by the following factors:
1) Geography Coverage or Location Convenience
2) Supply and Demand
3) Quality of Service
In other words, Geography Coverage or Location Convenience is just one of the factors that affect the Overall Satisfaction.
Geography Coverage or Location Convenience are essentially the same. It just seems to us that using the term "Geographical Coverage" is more appropriate for Police Stations and Fire stations, whereas other buildings will use the term "Location Convenience".

So it is calculated base on area effect that actually account for population within the circle of "service", but in general, do individual buildings actually have flag recording which type of services they received to and calculated by weight sum average for a city-wide quality of service rating? Or just by service area vs the population area to get a ratio?

I hope that players will have the option to contribute/donate to increase the quality of service.
