Advertising spending does not increase my branding

Hi I invest in branding 1M but for some reason it does not increase my branding awareness. i am using unique strategy am around the year 2016

Make sure the product is linked to the advertising unit. Try advertising additional products and see if its just that one product....is the product currently stocked in a store?

I sometimes observed similar problem after some AIs open their own media firms. And it doesn't affect all product, but only a selected few. I can not be sure how exactly it happened, but my guess would be there's some limit on how many products can be handled by a single media firm, and a lot of time you would need to link ads to newly established media firm to solve this problem.
