So someone wants to buy their shares back from me. I think about it, I minimise the request window to check out their shares and check out their business. After all, I might want to hold on to them, I may have forgotten why I'm holding them etc. I go back to the offer window only for it to close because I took too long to decide.

Annoying.

Just happened and I didn't even get a half a minute to check over things before the window vanished. No it's not still minimised.

Just lowering the speed or pause the game with hotkeys

Disable 'Consider Tender Offer' in the Options (O) and you will no longer see the offers, unless you turn it back on.
