Urgh!!!

So while making another newbie script video (http://youtu.be/EtASXxf6GK0) I'm shocked to see a few things are still not fixed and then there's one thing that got me very distracted while recording the video that seems to be a bug; Here they are

1. Building mode -> factory - There's three different medium factories but only one small factory and I swear there should be two each...what's even weirder is that the start-up costs is correct.
2. The batch switching still doesn't work like it should. When you have, say, a purchasing unit linked to a supplier and want to "batch switch" to another supplier it works perfectly (see referenced video) but if that purchasing unit loses its link (ie. supplier goes out of business) and you try and batch switch it doesn't work (see video)
3. The Layout Plan Library assume your supplier is your firm for linking (I know why this is a safe assumption), I feel that when you create a layout to add to the user define library, the layout should acknowledge the supplier so that when you go to use the layout you can click "use" and it autolinks to the actual supplier (time saver) rather then trying to find the manufacturing in your company.

Not biggies, but from someone who is still heavily playing last years Capitalism Lab Beta and to see that these issues are still presents its quite disappointing.

1. It's always been 1 small, 3 medium and 2 large since Cap2. But I think it doesn't matter since they are just cosmetic differences (if it's a mistake originally, it exists for a very very long time)

2. Batch switch has more insufficient and bugs. Like when you have 2 warehouses to supply same goods due to output bandwidth limit, batch switch will create some very buzzard results

3. Actually the auto-linking chooses the top rank source from the supplier list in current city first (when you manually open the supplier you can see how auto-linking logic works). I do agree it needs to have an option to store the default linking source, however it also creates another problem, since sometimes players have many sources in different city, you will end up having multiple version of the same layout with different sources and difficult to tell them apart. I normally deal with this problem with local upstream material warehouse, and set the price to near zero and internal sales. And auto-linking can work mostly fine with this setup.

What we suggested over the years with hundreds or thousands of opinions, I think only a dozen really come into implementation. Batch switch is one of them, and still being improved I think. (I remember user-define linking source also had been suggested before, but forgotten)

I think the higher unit levels might solve problems with auto linking. In regards to the factory if that's the case they should take the one that looks like a warehouse and change the warehouse graphic (that would be nice . Another way to improve batch switching is to give the human player the option to select specific stores to batch switch.... like where it shows you all the stores that meet the criteria put little check boxes..... its important that this works perfectly when implemented. This improved batch switching mechanism along with higher unit levels could be a game changer.

Ya, improve batch switching can reduce micro a lot, which usually just repeat task.

However I am not too sure about very higher training level factory that can supply say 10 cities. Since it might lead to natural monopoly too easily, if long-run average total cost (LRAC) always drops scaling up. The average overhead cost per unit decreased and increased during level up need to be carefully calibrated. (or you will have unrealistically insane profit margin, even weird balancing point).
