Ability to lease owned land

I love playing as the Real Estate mogul, but the problem with that is there really are not a lot of options if I want to go that route. I can build apartments and commercial buildings and buy and sell land. Thats it.

I would love to be able to buy a whole bunch of land and then place it up for lease. I think this would lead to some very interesting interactions between other companies.

This will be immense helpful. A lot of time, AIs just buy a line of 1 tile land in the middle of the town. If companies can at least rent the land and paid the rent to build on top of it, there will be less open space owned by AI doing nothing at prime real-state area.

Exactly! I mean, for me, I would love to essentially buy an entire city and then sublet all the land.

This is what I meant, AI trolling you with one line of tiles around the road. I always wonder why AI did that.

I can troll the AI too , and they troll me back :| (I wonder how the AI even knows how to do it, or they were just happy accidents)

I don't think I've ever seen that happen in my games, but I can see exactly why that problem would get very annoying. And this would solve that problem I think.

Just a quick follow up, is there any input on this from the Dev(s)?
