Neg cost & retail price?

Yesterday my company made a $7 billion acquisition. The retail stores and factory operations of their auto business reports costs (-2k) and retail price of (-2k). I currently don't have screen shots or anything to post just wondering how this can happen.

I plan on building new factories in my company manufacturing "hub" which should resolve the issue but I find it very bizarre. I'm also unable to get a salary above a few hundred thousands even though we annual profit is around $1.5 billion.

^ Look for My Firm Automotive Outlet and then go to the factory and that's where the negative cost retail price is coming up.

I'm assuming that it was reflecting those values prior to the merger.

I tried to load your save game with version 2.3.04 but the game cannot recognize the save game file. May I ask which game version you were using for saving the game?

Hi William,

We have fixed a bug with inflation in the recent version, which might cause the problem in your game. Does you game have inflation enabled? If so, it could be due to that bug and I would suggest that you upgrade to the latest post-release Beta version.

Of course I have inflation turned on :-). I need to find a way to emotionally detach myself from the game to upgrade to the latest.....maybe I will do an install in a different directory soon and see what improvements has been made without affecting my current game.

Yes, CapLab post-release beta version can be installed without affecting the release version you have installed.

Was this limited to only the auto industry? I'm starting to experience this issue though it my game (v 2.1.02). It seems to be a visual issue because on the product details page it allows me to change the price and if the price is above cost, the profit for the product in that firm seems to reflect that.

If you could provide the save game file or post a screenshot, it will help us investigate the problem. Thanks.
